The Brown County News Democrat has endorsed businessman David Krikorian (I-Madeira) in the race for Ohio's 2nd Congressional District.
Krikorian is challenging U.S. Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland), along with Dr. Victoria Wulsin (D-Indian Hill).
"We think Krikorian would be a good choice to watch the company store," the News wrote. "It seems right now, the shelves are bare and we have been sold out to greed on Wall Street and governmental overspending."
The News wrote that the voters of Ohio's 2nd need someone who will watch out for their interests and make sure they are well represented in Congress.
"Even though Krikorian said he is against the bailout bill, we think sending him to congress could help prevent us from needing another bailout," the News wrote.
The News Democrat has a circulation of 23,400 in Brown and Clermont Counties. The Krikorian for Congress Campaign thanked the News Democrat for their "important and decisive endorsement."
