Wulsin campaign responds to Schmidt, says they are 'encouraged' by Schmidt's 'sudden interest in honesty'

The campaign of Dr. Victoria Wulsin (D-Indian Hill) responded to U.S. Rep. Jean Schmidt's (R-Loveland) call for Wulsin to "correct false information" in her financial disclosure reports.

The Schmidt campaign said they were giving Wulsin ten days to sort out her disclosure documents before the brought legal action.

Wulsin spokesperson Kevin Franck said the campaign responded.

"We are encouraged by the Congresswoman's sudden interest in honesty," Franck said. "If Jean Schmidt wants to make this election about who the voters trust to tell the truth, we're happy to put Vic Wulsin's record of honest leadership up against Schmidt's reckless disregard for the truth."
